Expert board games, rebuilt as licensed online platforms.
A real-time engine that takes training board games authored by specialists and runs them online, with a facilitator, for teams in the same room or spread across locations.
01 — The challenge
Facilitator-led training games work in the room. Taking them online usually loses what makes them work: the conversation, the facilitator's judgment and the shared table.
02 — What we built
- A turn-based multiplayer engine where the server, not the browser, applies the rules and rolls the dice.
- A private facilitator panel with reference answers, and a public screen for projectors and video calls.
- Invitations by link, with reconnection and recovery when someone drops.
- Licenses, tables per license, buyer accounts and an admin console.
03 — Engineering highlights
One engine, many games
New titles reuse the same engine; content is digitized from the original print material.
Several languages
Interface and content localized, with validators for documents and translations.
Human judgment kept
Answers are judged by the facilitator, not by an algorithm.
Tested under load
End-to-end tests across browsers and load tests before release.
The facilitated game now reaches teams wherever they are, without losing the facilitator.
