TrustApplied AIOur approach

AI where it earns its place.

We build applied AI into operational systems and use AI tools in our own engineering work. These are the principles we follow in both.

Redpine01 — PrinciplesHow we use AI

AI where it earns its place

We use AI when it solves a real problem better than a rule, a form or a simpler system. Technology for its own sake is never the goal.

A person has the final word

On outputs that matter, such as reports, classifications or anything that affects people, a person reviews and approves the result before it goes out.

Outputs are validated

We design AI as a pipeline with checks, not as a single prompt:

  • Extract: models pull structured information from documents, text or audio.
  • Classify: the information is organized against the criteria of your operation.
  • Validate: rules and automated checks remove errors and unsupported statements.
  • Approve: a person confirms the result before it is used.

Explainable and assistive

We favor uses where the basis for a suggestion can be checked, and where AI assists the people accountable for the work instead of replacing their judgment.

Your data stays yours

Client data is not used to train models without explicit consent. Models receive only the data a task needs, and sensitive information is minimized or removed whenever possible.

Transparency

When a system we deliver uses AI, we tell you where and how, so your team knows which outputs were generated or assisted by a model.

AI in our own work

Our engineers use AI tools to write, review and test code. An engineer reviews every change before it ships, and the same rules on client data apply.

This page describes our approach and is reviewed as our practices evolve.
